The Mental Load
The Mental Load
When remembering everything, managing everyone, and holding it all together becomes too much.
This course helps women recognize the invisible mental and emotional work they carry, understand how so much became theirs to manage, and decide what they want to continue carrying, share, simplify, or put down. The goal is NOT perfect household organization. The goal is NOT getting more done. The goal is NOT teaching women how to become more efficient at carrying an unreasonable amount. The deeper question is: Why am I carrying so much in the first place?
This course is based on Brooke Andersen's personal experiences, writing, and advocacy. Brooke is not a licensed mental health professional, and this course is intended for educational and personal reflection purposes only. It is not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for professional care. Read the full disclaimer.

Your Guide
Brooke Andersen
Brooke built Through Fire & Grace from the lessons she gathered while navigating postpartum psychosis, chronic illness, trauma, faith, and the long work of healing. She guides each week the way she wrote the book — honestly, without performance, and with deep respect for the person doing the work.
