When Motherhood Goes Dark
Brooke's lived experience of postpartum mental health, offered as understanding — not a treatment.
Some of what Brooke experienced after birth, she didn't have words for until much later. This course shares that journey — the fear, the disconnection, the sense that something was very wrong — with no clinical framing and no promise of fixing anything. It's here for mothers who recognize something of themselves in Brooke's story and want to feel less alone in it. This is a reflective, personal experience, not therapy or medical care. If you are struggling now, please reach out to a qualified provider or a crisis resource in your area.
This course is based on Brooke Andersen's personal experiences, writing, and advocacy. Brooke is not a licensed mental health professional, and this course is intended for educational and personal reflection purposes only. It is not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for professional care. Read the full disclaimer.
